Shipping policy
1. Order Processing & Handling Times
All orders require processing (handling) time before being transferred to the carrier.
-
Order Cut-Off Time: 3:30 PM Central Time (CT), Monday through Friday.
-
Business Days: Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. We do not process or ship orders on Saturdays or Sundays.
-
Parcel Handling Time: Orders ship within 2 business days of order placement and payment authorization.
-
LTL Freight Handling Time: Orders ship within 5 business days of order placement and payment authorization.
-
Weekend Orders: Any order placed after 3:30 PM CT on Friday, or at any point during the weekend, will begin processing on the following Monday.
2. Shipping Costs & Estimates
-
Domestic Parcel Shipping Costs: Parcel shipping costs (via UPS or USPS) are calculated dynamically at the time of checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your gear.
-
LTL Freight & International Quotes: We offer automated LTL freight shipping at checkout for the contiguous 48 United States. For LTL freight to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, or any international destination, please contact us at sales@churchgear.comprior to purchase for a custom freight quote.
3. Estimated Transit & Delivery Times
Delivery timelines depend on the carrier and your location.
-
Parcel Transit Time: Typically 3–7 business days after the package leaves our facility.
-
LTL Freight Transit Time: Typically 5–14 business days after the freight leaves our facility.
4. Shipping Destinations & Restrictions
-
Domestic & International Reach: We ship to all 50 United States and select international destinations. Parcel shipping is available and calculated automatically at checkout for all 50 states.
-
Alaska, Hawaii, & International Freight: LTL Freight shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and international destinations cannot be calculated dynamically at checkout. Customers must contact us at sales@churchgear.com for a custom quote before ordering.
-
P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO: Because we offer USPS as a carrier option, we happily accept delivery to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO addresses strictly for parcel-sized shipments. LTL Freight cannot be delivered to these address types and requires a valid physical street address.
-
International Customs & Duties: For all international orders, the customer is solely responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees incurred upon delivery. These fees are not included in your shipping costs at checkout.
5. LTL Freight Delivery Specifics (Requires Action)
Because we ship heavy technical gear, LTL freight deliveries operate under strict carrier rules:
-
Presence & Signature Required: The customer or an authorized representative must be present at the delivery appointment to sign the receiving receipt.
-
Damage Liability & Refusal: You must inspect the freight before signing. Do not sign for the package if you see visible damage. Signing transfers liability of the goods from the freight carrier to you. If damaged, refuse to sign and contact us immediately at shipping@churchgear.com so we can resolve the issue.
-
Additional Delivery Services: Standard freight delivery assumes loading dock or forklift access. If you require Liftgate Serviceor Limited Access Delivery (e.g., a location a full 40-foot semi-truck cannot access), these optional services must be selected and paid for at the time of checkout. Email sales@churchgear.com to set this up.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order has been processed and handed off to the carrier, you will receive an automated shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information.
7. Lost or Missing Packages
If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you cannot find it, or if your package is lost in transit, please contact us at shipping@churchgear.com within 3 business days. We will work directly with the carrier to initiate a trace and resolve the issue.
8. Delays Beyond Our Control (Force Majeure)
ChurchGear is not responsible for shipping or delivery delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, natural disasters (Acts of God), carrier strikes, labor disputes, civil unrest, war, or government-mandated restrictions. While we will make every effort to ensure your gear arrives within the estimated timeframe, transit times are not guaranteed during such events.
